Giving the perspective you didn't ask for, but secretly needed.
Here to overanalyze your favorite takes and accidentally make them make sense. Respectfully... y'all be wrong sometimes.
Word. Free will isn't the problem. How you choose to exercise it is. The people who don't trample on others to get what they want are the ones with real character.
It's probably the same reason someone locks up their pantry while trying to lose weight. The temptation. The constant reminder of past failures. Sometimes the easiest way to resist something is to remove it from your environment. Out of sight, out of mind.
I'll add this: love is conditional. Belief is simply what you agree with. If you believe you're happy in your marriage, what you're really saying is you agree with what you're getting out of it because it aligns with how you've defined marriage and what you believe it should provide. The moment your definition changes or what you're receiving no longer matches it, your feelings about the marriage can change too.
Gotta define what a relationship really is. I've learned a lot of people don't actually want one, they want companionship. It's less restrictive and feels safer.
A real relationship requires sacrifice. So ask yourself: What am I not willing to sacrifice? If that list is long, stay single. In the meantime, become the man you'd be for her...for yourself first. That's the bait. We don't attract who we want. We attract who we consistently are to ourselves.
Do I believe marriage changes who you've always been?
Do I believe it's forever?
Do I believe it's love?
I think marriage is a bond society gave a name to. I believe in the legal and tax benefits. I believe it's the final token of what someone means to you. But I don't believe it's necessary to prove your love. A ring doesn't create loyalty, character, or commitment. It should simply recognize what already exists.
A lot of rules are written in someone else's blood. Just because no one at your company has broken them doesn't mean no one ever has. Good organizations borrow lessons instead of waiting to learn them the hard way.
Masculine and feminine energy ain't about gender. They're roles you naturally shift between. Masculine energy says, "I got us." Feminine energy says, "I got you." One creates safety through direction. The other creates safety through connection. The healthiest relationships know when to switch depending on what the moment needs.
You're right. I comprehend well. It just doesn't feel as underhanded to me and I was trying legitimately feel where ya'll coming from.
Maybe because one of the perks to the Patreon tier I'm on was a discord access, which I never really took advantage of. Then I saw I could link my account here, and thus fulfill that perk.
And it just so happens, they are making power moves. So I guess that's why I don't feel like a lamb led to the slaughter. And maybe others do.
I don't understand this AI slop sentiment. It's kind of a weird slur, that's not even a slur yet.
I feel like we'll be in the cyberpunk era with people discriminating androids and functioning robots just because they have artificial parts and AI integration. On some Detroit Becomes Human video game shit.
Humans don't seem to change their aversion to change. It's kind of funny.
Yooooo, that man's lust was his demise in more ways than one.
Joyce played the trump card, and Jonasi couldn't resist. That man was so stubborn; no matter what he put those women and his kids through, he refused to apologize.
Just wild behavior. I've never seen anything like this in my life.😂
